Nonna and Pal took us all to Old Waverly for the annual brunch with Santa. The food was wonderful, and the kiddos looked so adorable in their Christmas frocks. George isn't sure about Santa - Carter is obviously too young to have an opinion. It's hard for me to believe that she will be 8 months in a few days, and George will be 1 year in a few weeks!! Where has the time gone?

The Grove - Tennessee vs. Ole Miss
We took Carter to her first college football game this month - we went to Oxford to see the Vols play the Rebels! The game didn't turn out well for the Vols, but we had a good time anyway. Carter enjoyed her first "grove" experience. It was a perfect fall day for football!

Dancing Queen
Carter loves a few songs on Noggin (now Nick Jr.). As you can see, this is one of them. I must say, the child has rhythm... Blogger (me) uploaded them in reverse order so watch the second one first - pretty funny.

October 2009
We have been pretty busy this month. Football has occupied every Saturday. Thankfully, Carter likes watching it with her Daddy. We (Carter ) got her 6 month shots. She is sitting (basically) on her own, eating baby food twice a day, and sleeping almost 12 hours each night. So much has changed in the last few months. It's amazing! Luke and I think that 6 months may be the perfect age - she is fun to hang out with, sleeps great, and isn't mobile!! What's not to like?
Hanging out, watching the Vols with Daddy - even though I am wearing pink.
Carter loves to look out the big front window in the living room
in one of her Halloween outfits that Luke thinks looks like it came from a yard sale?? It didn't but anyway...
Ready for the Chili Fest in downtown Tupelo. We had a great time. We have figured out that Carter does much better on nights when we are out doing something (or not at home). Humm... a sign of things to come?
Carter with George at Chili Fest. They really did enjoy it - even though you can't tell by the look on their faces.
Saturdays with Daddy
give me a kiss! I can't believe that her eyes are still very blue.
Carter in her "jumping thing" - whatever you call it - she loves it despite the look on her face...
